Hair O’ The Dog, Wybers Wood takes your privacy seriously and is committed to protecting your personal information.
This notice sets out how the information that you provide is used to provide you a grooming service.
Who am I ? Andrew Cadey-Gell (Hair O’ The Dog, Wybers Wood)
Your Information.
I will need to collect data such as your name, address and contact details. I need these so I can contact you to collect your dog or if there is a problem.
I will also need details about your dog including the vets your use and any medical conditions or behavioural issues he/she may have. Without this information I cannot provide a safe grooming service.
I may also collect pictures or video of the work I do to use on social media or on my website.
How your information will be kept
Your “Client Information Form” with your contact details and details about your pet along with the “Privacy Notice Receipt” form will be kept in a file and be locked away. Online versions are deleted once the paper version is printed.
Your telephone number and/or social media details may also be saved in my phone for ease of use. My phone is protected by a password / fingerprint unique to me.
How the law applies to Hair O’ The Dog, Wybers Wood’s use of personal information.
I will only use your personal information if I have:
• Asked you and have a record of your consent for us to do so.
• A legal obligation to use or disclose information about you.
Hair O’ The Dog, Wybers Wood will not rent, swap or sell your personal information to other organisations for them to use in their own marketing activities.

How long do I need to keep information?
As a customer of Hair O’ The Dog, Wybers Wood I will hold your contact information for a year after you last contacted me. After this time any paper records I may have will be shredded and disposed of and any phone contact details will be deleted.
Any videos or pictures I take of your pet are deleted from the phone or camera once used on social media or my website, the pictures, however, may remain historically on social media but won't have any names attached to them.
Your name and pets name however will be kept in my records for six years for the purposes of HMRC checks.
I confirm that I have read, understood and I give my consent to Hair O’ The Dog, Wybers Wood to collect my data and process it accordingly under the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) May 2018.
Hair O’ The Dog, Wybers Wood will not rent, swap or sell my personal information to other organisations for them to use in their own marketing activities. We never use or disclose any information about you unless we are legally obliged to do so.
